The Innovative Model Aviation   F27/F50/F60 is a ‘Stand-Off-Scale’ model of the Fokker F27 Friendship. The F27 has been built in many different civil and military versions and has constantly been adapted to current needs. As a result of this, for instance, the fuselage length has been increased over the years and more powerful engines have been installed. The F27 has been built for civil and military purposes and is still used in many countries. A few versions: commercial airliner, combination passenger-cargo airplane, maritime control aircraft and the so-called ‘Troop Carrier’. More recently the F27 was redeveloped into the F50. Although the external appearance is very similar to the F27 the F50 is really a completely new aircraft. Immediately visible differences are the longer fuselage with the smaller windows, the different engine nacelles and propellers and the small winglets. The F60 has a longer fuselage again. The Innovative Model Aviation kit contains parts to construct either version.

The model is flown with elevator, ailerons and motor control and has been designed for hand-launching. The flight characteristics are excellent!
