Flying the Paddle

It's possible to rog with the Paddle, but handlaunching is also very easy.
You have to get used to the controls as they are very direct and responsive and can lead to some overcontrol problems in the first flight, after that the Paddle is a joy to fly, it will do loops and rolls ,snap rolls and slow rolls, and can even fly slow , but keep in mind that it's not a slow flyer, with the eliptical wings the stall is very abrupt and can give some problems if flown to slow and to low.
The spruce tailbooms are lighter as carbon rods and also some more flexible.
The battery is loaded through a self locking hatch on the front, and there is room for even more cells.
for controlls you need 2x9gram servo's and speed controller and a small receiver, i fly it with a indoor receiver from Simprop and this doesn't give any problems , no glitches, and very light.
Controls are just like a V-Tail only in reverse direction.
And if the weather permits you can have a thermal trip with the Paddle, it takes thermals easy.

This are the Paddle parts; handpicked selected balsa and ply al formers ,ribs etc cnc cut.
