  HW
620 replaces the RK 720-E. It is similar in size and performance to the
Midi Fan. You can choose the same motors, but you will gain a higher
efflux velocity at slightly lower static thrust.
In the past many customers did
not like the complicated construction of the RK 709/720. Wie have
listened to that and deliver both the HW 609 as well as the HW 620
nearly completely pre assembled. All that is left is for you to mount
the motor and fit the fan unit in your individual model.
Especially for this EDF we are
developing an F-16 right now, that comes completely moulded and takes
advantage of the efficiency of this unit. Typically you choose in such a
model an HP 290-20-7 and14 cells, or an Ultra 930-6 running on 16 cells.
As we have reduced the torque consumption dramatically, you can even
start with simple 600 size ferrite motors.
