light, only 6 or 7 ounces, but it has a 50" wingspan and huge 483 sq. inch
wing area with a very high lift and low speed airfoil. You should fly it when
there's no wind or even fly it indoors because flying speed is only about 4 mph!
Flying speed is so slow that Bleriot II can easily land and STOP on a card table
-- or on your hand! It can turn around in flight in just 10 feet of airspace! It
is made of hand-cut balsa wood with light fabric covering. With the 110mah nicad
pack 5 minute flights are possible. Bleriot II requires mini receivers and micro
servos (2: rudder and elevator) and the Jeti Micro Motor Controller. While it's
very easy to fly and the airframe is assembled and covered, it does require
careful installation of the micro servos and the "pull-pull" control
connections.

A word about Slow Flyers:
The most enjoyable RC airplanes we have
EVER flown! They are not only slow flyers, but their control is precise and
responsive. They are the most FLOWN airplanes that we own in our personal fleet.
We have flown them indoors, outdoors at the flying field, in the street in front
of Hobby Lobby, at night under the street lights, and RACED them at night under
the street lights. They are fragile balsawood, but when you crash them they
repair instantly while you charge your battery for the next flight. We have let
beginners fly them, but the RCers who appreciate these Slow Flyers the most are
the experienced RC pilots who simply enjoy a great flying machine!
